The funds are dedicated for services to St. Charles County children and youth, and will be awarded to local agencies to provide services that address the growing unmet mental health needs of our community youth. View Website DDRB The DDRB is a public taxing entity, commonly known as a "Senate Bill 40 Board" that enters into funding contracts with agencies that serve individuals with developmental disabilities in St. Charles County. This public tax was established in 1977 when voters of St. Charles County approved to tax themselves up to sixteen cents per $100.00 of assessed property valuation to provide community based programs and supports for citizens with developmental disabilities. Zumwalt The mission of the Fort Zumwalt School District is to assure that its students, regardless of ability or economic level, are provided an education in such a positive and safe learning environment that all reach their potential. View Website School District - Orchard Farm The Orchard Farm School District is a public school district in St. Charles County, Missouri that was formed on February 14, 1959. Our 50th anniversary of service to our community was achieved in 2009. The first school year serving students began in the fall of 1959 utilizing facilities in three area schools. The current main campus of the district at 2165 Highway V was purchased in the fall of 1959 with a building open to serve students in the fall of 1960. There are three schools on the main campus: Orchard Farm Elementary, Orchard Farm Middle School, and Orchard Farm High School. Discovery Elementary our newest school is located off the main campus. R-III School District With an enrollment over 2,900 students, the Warren County R-III School District occupies the western two-thirds of Warren County and covers 200 square miles. Warren County is one of the fastest growing counties in Missouri and our projected enrollment over the next decade indicates that we will possibly double in size by 2020. The Warren County R-III School District is a past recipient of the "Accreditation with Distinction in Performance" award.
